Botanical Jewellery – Silver Clay Workshop
Suitable for complete beginners or those with some silver clay experience who would like to further develop their skills, this full-day workshop starts with a walk around the scented gardens to collect some foliage and flowers. You will learn how to make moulds of various flowers, leaves and seedpods and create a pendant, charm or drop earrings using the moulds you have made. You will then fire your piece(s), before polishing and applying finishing touches to your jewellery. £75

Botanical Silk Dyeing Plus Beginners Botanical Embroidery (Full Day)
Throughout the day, Tanya Glynn a Dorset based Fashion and Textiles designer who has instructed garment construction for over 10 years and Lesley Davies, a locally based corset designer will be on hand to demonstrate and advise. The workshop which will take place in our cosy Aromadome, will start with an introduction to the flowers, roots, and pigments you will be using to dye the fabric. You will also discover which fabrics, botanical elements, soaps and mordants are best to use to help dyes stay colour fast. This will be followed by a demonstration of rolling and folding techniques, also an unravelling of a bundle to show the effects you can achieve. £75
