Wellness & Yoga Mornings at Keyneston Mill

Following our popular Indulgence Days over the Summer, we’re delighted to offer some more opportunities to take time out for wellbeing and meditation in the beautiful setting of Keyneston Mill this Winter.
Our intimate Wellness & Yoga Mornings will start with warming welcome drinks and a fresh fruit platter. You’ll then be guided through a restorative morning of Dru Yoga and Meditation led by qualified Dru Yoga Instructor Kirsty Elliott, all set in our wonderfully calm, relaxing AromaDome, situated in the gardens of Keyneston Mill.
End the morning by chilling out in The Scented Botanist bistro-café with a delicious barista coffee or herbal tea. If you’d like to stay for lunch (not included), just let us know and we’ll make a reservation for you.
Our sessions are open to people of all abilities and levels of experience – we limit the numbers to just 6 people per session so you can be sure of the highest level of personal guidance and attention.

INFORMATION: Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on soft flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation; designed to be practised by people of all abilities, fitness levels and age groups. It can easily be dipped into or learnt in greater depth over time, and works on body, mind and spirit to rejuvenate your whole being.
December: Inner Stillness Yoga Workshop
The gift of ‘presence’ is truly the best gift we can give ourselves, so why not take a little time away from the ‘to do list’, slow down the pace and indulge in some serious self-care.
During the workshop enjoy exploring beautiful flowing sequences of movement designed to release tiredness and tension from the body. Be guided through simple yet powerful Pranayama (breathing exercises) allowing body and breath to come back into balance, and guiding your mind into a meditation practice to bring quietness to thoughts. Finally allow yourself to rekindle and reconnect to your inner stillness and inner peace with a deep relaxation.
January, February & March: Sankapla Yoga Workshops
During the first three months of 2020 we will be practising ‘Sankapla’ or ‘Resolve’. A Sankapla practice starts from the radical premise that you are already who you need to be to fulfil your life’s dharma – all you need to do is focus your mind and direct your energy to connect to your desires and goals.
Through this workshop we will work with a flow of Asanas (postures) to allow the sensation of space to be created in and around the body, and Pranayama (breathing exercises) and a moving meditation will be used to focus the mind. The sensation of energy flowing through the body will be embedded in a deep relaxation allowing you to deeply connect to your Sankapla for the year ahead.
