Scented Garden Tour

This one-hour tour is an opportunity to find out what makes Keyneston Mill and Parterre Fragrances so unique. The tour starts in the scented Collection Gardens which are divided into “compartments” representing the principal perfume “families” eg. Floral, Fougere (Fern), Spice and Citrus.  These gardens are colourful and fragrant, but also act as trial beds where we experiment with unusual plant varieties.  We shall be encouraging you to rub leaves and sniff!

We then move on to the Perfume Crop Fields where the key ingredients for our perfumes are grown.  Many of the plants seen here have never been cultivated for fine fragrance before, and some are rarely seen in the UK.  The tour ends with behind the scenes glimpses of the open lab and distillery where you will discover how we create the high-quality oils for our Parterre perfumes.

  1. Linda Shearing

I visited this place during a recent visit from America. Although the time of year was not the best to see the gardens, it was still a delightful visit. The perfumes are exquisite, especially ” A Tribute to Edith”. I have told all my family and friends in Dorset about this hidden gem. I hope to visit again sometime, especially in May/June.
